Does anyone know if/when "Yankee Doodle Dandy" will be on?
I've looked at tvguide dot com & imdb, nada....

Gotta watch that....

I love that movie!  I love seeing James Cagney sing & dance, what a change from the usual gangster sneering.  :)

I haven't seen it on the schedule but I think I own it.  I want to see it and 1776.  :)

Wasn't someone related to DS involved?? I'll go to imdb.

What character's were Ford & Bass?

Okay...does anyone know if 1776 will be on this year?

They're not on TV that I'm aware of  :-[ but Blockbuster is open today and they might have copies  of both Yankee Doodle Dandy and 1776  :)

            Yankee Doodle Dandy is on tonight at 8:00 p.m. on TCM.  It is a great film.  {A note of Birdie trivia}.  My mother claims that my grandfather knew the real George M. Cohen when he lived in the Brookfields in MA.  I have my grandmothers sheet music to Over There framed in my kitchen.

Happy 4th to all.  Got to get back to making fruit salad, spinach salad, and skew the meat for todays shin-dig.  Why am I always the one who gets to host these things.
