Dear Fellow Dark Shadows Fans,
I'm wondering where (or from whom) Angelique obtained her unique wedding "gift" for Josette and Barnabas.
With the dark hair and defiantly-shaped chinbone, perhaps the skull belonged to Magda Racosi's great grandmother.
Then again, those beady-shaped eye sockets look remarkably like Buzz Hackett's. Maybe the skull was part of one of Buzz's noble forebears.
Does anyone have any other idea who the cranium could have belonged to?

I think you have hit the nail on the head there, Bob, and I think more specifically, it was Beatrice Hackett, Buzz's great-great-great aunt, inventor of Borcsht - thus creating a career for her great grandson, Buddy.
Cheers,
Ringo
Some great eps today [brought to you by the letter B]
Man, didn't TLATKLS look GRRRRRR-eat today in that slicky striped, form fitting dress, with just that long lovely neck exposed!!! :P
Why DO they put the p's and q's so close together? and the look on Big Ben's face when Barn said he was gonna keep him - wonderful!!
[also, please go down the board and read my response to an old post -'Enter Angie']

Bob, your comments are always a highlight of my visits to this board. What fun!
I personally think the skull belonged to Amanda Harris' Great Aunt Hortense. There was clearly a thing for ratty hairpieces that ran in that family. Plus the jawline shows that Hortense liked to chatter almost as much as Amanda.
Altogether now, one two three: "Qu-wu-wu-woo-woo-wooo-woooooooooENNNNNNTINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!"

I think the wig is a dead (pun intended) giveaway that this skull belongs to one of Mrs. Johnson's ancestors. :)

Ah, the scenes we missed! Probably was shot and ended up on the cutting room floor ;)
My personal thought is that Angelique went out for a walk in the woods much as she did when she was seeking um, her salad greens only this time and just found it uh, lying around [idea2]

Maybe she visited the Ye Olde Collinsport ''HEAD' shoppe! Papers, Tarot Cards, Screens, Puffy shirts, Body paint [for beauty marks and pitchforks] - its all coming together nicely] -- AND with Buzz behind the counter!!! [gring]

Steve,
Thanks for the kind words. Along with my colleagues Ben, CastleBee, Gerard, Ringo, et al, I like to think of myself as a Dark Shadows humorist; A lifelong fan of Dark Shadows, who expresses his love and admiration for the show through his decidely warped sense of humor.
Sincerely,
Bob the Bartender
PS I think that Bob is correct with his suggestion that the head actually belonged to one of Mrs. Johnson's "be-wigged" ancestors.
