Outsmarting Barnabas isn't (forgive me) exactly an impossible task ;)
Frankly, Jeb's pretty darn thickheaded most of the time. A visionary he is not. Which is why I can't get too worried about the Leviathans there. He's not so much a man without plan as a man who disregards the plan, having decided that he is going the "it's all about me" route rather than using the old noggin.
Kind of makes me amused when Nicholas shows up and points out what a horse's ass Jeb really is.

You've noticed that, have you. :D

And the "man" is so dense that he can't even see that he's his own worst enemy. [lghy]
As much as I dislike Jeb, I do think it was a clever story point to keep him acting like a spoiled and petulant child even into adulthood. It's an interesting commentary on how rapidly he, um, "grew up."

And what a great moment that is. Probably my second favorite next to Roger referring to Jeb as a cheap, insufferable pig, which people might have noticed is something I really enjoy. [wink2]

He grew up so fast we're lucky he is even potty trained. He still acts like that creepy little kid Alexander.
MB, I am happy to see you posting. I guess this means you are up to speed and whipping this board into shape so you can relax and do a little posting :-*

You haven't said anything wrong, Anne. If you're referring to Luciaphil's comment about Barn, I think she was apologizing in advance to the legion of Barn fans who sometimes take offense when someone points out that he isn't always the brightest bulb in the pack. (Oops, was that my outloud voice? ;D)

Well, I've still got a ways to go, but let's say I'm a lot more comfortable with PHP/MySQL than I was when we first switched to YaBBSE. ;) But it took me a couple months before I was comfortable with Perl when we were using SP - the difference being I'd been able to work on the SP forum for almost two months before it debuted.
As for posting (other than on the Testing board), it's something I've missed being able to do for quite a while. It feels good to have an opportunity to comment on the storylines again. :) (Though no doubt some will say I should remain chained in the dungeon working on perfecting some new feature for the forum. You didn't say anything wrong at all! :D MB's interpretation was absolutely correct :)
Question: Has the cheap, insufferable, pig remark happened yet?

Question: Has the cheap, insufferable, pig remark happened yet?
No. The happy and much anticipated (by me, anyway ;)) event takes place in episode #960, the first one on Friday May 30th. Mark your calendars. [lghy]

thank you MB wanted to call someone that at work
the other day who acts as childish and revolting as Jeb but
had to restrain myself! :o Roger was the best at it!
