Calm Down. That said. Everything is going to work out fine. I remember a week before my due date wishing the whole thing was over with. Being preggo's was not my idea of a good time. Can't believe I did it four times. Who is more stupid Vicki or me? O.K. don't answer that I don't want to know. Serves me right for marring an Irish man. By the way his name is Tom. My husband would say you picked a great name for your little guy. Keep your spirits up.
I hope it is behind you soon, and you hold your little one in your arms. We will look forward to hearing all about this "adventure" in your life.

These are new instructions specifically for dsboards. The smilies legend can be found in the Posting section of the Help files. Click on "Emoticons" and proceed to the next pages if desired. Type exactly what's there, for example [ followed by bawl and then ] to get [bawl]. (I bet I'm going to catch MAJOR hell from Patti for that one!)

Yes, do remember that word. Being a former OB/GYN nurse, I asked for it as soon as I came in the door and I was only one centimeter dilated! I told them that I wasn't good with pain and wanted relief before the bad stuff started. Also, they have something new called the Paradise epidural where you can walk around and still get relief.
I'm with Birdie i didn't enjoy pregnancy either but the end is almost here!!!!!!
Pregnancy is about 6 months too long. Thankfully you won't have to go thru the summer months being hot and cranky. You'll be out with the stroller letting the little one see the world. Enjoy them while they are young.

I do Icu and recovery room but have helped
out in L&D. you do forget the "discomfort" of labor(sort of)but we won't let the men know that!!
