Setup:

The ghost of Sarah's little dog looked wistfully though the banister rails, and wondered why no one would play with him, or even notice him.  He was so desperate for attention that he even missed the way Abigail used to...

(Oh I see, we're looking through the dog's eyes!  I was peering into that capture for any hint of a dog I could find...!)
