Title: Original DS Coming Back to Broadcast TV?

I just listened to KL Scott, Lara & Jim Pierson on Moe Banshee's Asylum, a horror themed podcast.
Kathryn stated that the original series DS was in the works to be broadcast again, that Pierson had a deal going.
Anyone know anything about this?

David, I had hoped when the new movie was released, some station would pick it up.
Funny thing is, I don't have the Chiller channel, but every week or two, they show the '90-'91 series.
