Title: Episode #0259
Post by: CTP/FITBs on July 27, 2012, 10:33:33 PM
[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Elizabeth was so angry she wanted to grind her daughter Carolyn's face through the chain link window guard, but instead turned and said, "______________."

....Fibberttibbijjit!

(I just listened to "Kenilworth" by Sir Walter Scott.  Is this really what you're talking about?  Actually I think I said this in a caption once myself...  That name keeps going through my head over and over!)

no.  Just came to my head.

actually spelled it wrong should be fibbergitibbet.  means whimisical mostly in reference to young woman.  who knew i knew without knowing!

I do think i recall seeing that here, now that you mention it.

(Actually, in the book it's "flibbertigibbet", and an encyclopaedia defines it as "impish urchin", and the character was always playing tricks, and helping the story move along by running around behind the scenes, and doing this thing or that thing to make it possible for the heroes to get their big tasks done--- aka "Hobgoblin" or "Dickie Sludge"...)
