Title: Films of DS Interest on TCM This Week

July 4th: TCM has it's annual airing of the classic musical 1776. Virginia Vestoff, as Abigail Addams is one of the stars. Supporting players include David Ford, Emory Bass (Mr. Best) and Daniel Keyes (Eagle Hill Cemetery caretaker)

The following day, July 5th, TCM airs the sublime ghost/love story Portrait of Jennie (1948). I've long believed that this film partly inspired the time-tripping Vicki/Peter love story on DS.
