Title: Where is Joan Bennett??

I know that Jonathan Frid took a vacation from the show for a month to appear in the play "Dial M for Murder" in the time frame that Sci-fi is currently showing.

My question is this, Joan Bennett was gone for a full three months, from July 7, 1969 to around October 13th, did she take time off for a play or take a vacation or did they just run out things for her to do during this time frame?

That's a good question. I suspect it was deliberate. Well-deserved vacation, having plastic surgery, doing a play?

it was in her contract to be given time off each year to do plays.

She was spending a lot of time that Summer working on her book, the Bennett Playbill.  I believe it was published in January 1970.
