Post by: Connie on March 10, 2003, 09:51:57 AM
I like the capture and lyrics in place of the montage.  [thumb]

I put in the words "Do I know you from somewhere?" in Search and the lyrics came up to a song written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard from the "Ray of Light" album.

Thanx, Connie. Say your prayers that all goes well. My surgery is at 11am and is supposed to last two hours; I should be home sometime late afternoon. I'm trying to stay calm even tho daughter called to say she may be home tonight from college--apparently there was a fire somewhere in the county that has caused a major power outage in and about the college town. It's always something!

Good luck tomorrow Carol with your surgery.  My prayers are with you in that everything will go well. Get plenty of rest too when you get home, (let hubby take care of everything)

Congratulations on guessing the song lyrics!  :)

Thanx everyone for your well wishes. I can only be on the comp for short periods of time because part of my post op recovery requires that I lay flat on my stomach with head flat(no pillow)for 18/24 hours per day for the next few days--maybe longer.
Today was my post op apptment and Dr said all looks well but he will know more as the week progresses.
I'm feeling ok but very tired; eye aches. Surgery lasted 3 hours instead of 2; he had to do the longer, more complicated version instead of the quickest plus he's a stickler for details and became annoyed when OR staff didn't have things ready when he wanted them.
Gerard, I'm hoping all goes well for you on Friday. We could be roommates since I'm sure you'll be on bedrest for awhile, too.

Carol,
You poor thing.  You have to lie down flat on your stomach, as if the surgery wasn't  torture enough.  If I lived near by, I would offer to read to you.  Maybe your library has some books on tape that someone could pick up for you.  I will keep you in my prayers and hope you feel better very soon. :-*

Take care of yourself, Carol! Hope that you're feeling MUCH better soon.  Glad that the doc said you're progressing well.  Will keep you in my prayers and send good vibes your way! [peace]
