Title: Jameson Wins At Westminster!
Post by: Minja on February 12, 2003, 05:03:49 AM

OK, so the name isn't spelled quite the same.....but I always get excited when two of my worlds intersect somewhat!  Ch. Raisin's Jameson was Best Shetland Sheepdog at Westminster today!  And his owners the Burgesses are cross state friends of mine!  Jameson will be on later tonight in the Herding Group on the USA networks broadcast of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.  And for those who might miss it..here's a link to his pic!

and just click garden photo under his name!

Please let Sheenasma and me know if an "Amanda Harris" happens to take any prizes at Westminster. [puke]

The REAL winner can be seen here:

Hey Cris!  Well, no Amanda...shucky durn ;)....but last night there was a "Hairy Potter" in the terrier group!
I know you and esp. Sheenasma are dissappointed! ;)

And RINGO! YES! I heard that Sir Paul once had an Old English!  And I thought of you!  That was a very nice Border Collie there...too bad it was his retirement show.
He's won his breed there a couple of times before!

Three Cheers for the Tri Color Rough Collie who was 4th in the Herding Group!  Those of you who saw the Victoria magazine spread at Lockwood Matthews a few months ago may remember seeing the model walking a pair of Tri Color Rough Collies on the grounds in the photo shoot!

Kinda surprised that Jameson didn't get a nod in the herding group.  The judge, Eileen Pimlott, put up the sheltie Ch. Rockwood's Gold Strike, as Group First back in '89!  But Jameson did a great job nonetheless...and without the black gloves! ;)

Just heard on the news that Jameson has been disqualified because he was caught cheating at poker.  He was ousted when someone came up with a rare velvet painting that captured the moment for posterity!

No Amanda?  Aren't these dog shows bitches on parade?  And still not a one?

Peek-a-boo, Minja, I haven't  been in touch in eons!

Alas, according to my sources, there was no Amanda Harris entered at Westminster due to a lack of portrait!
If she had been there she would've surely won....

MR. BEST IN SHOW!!!

Geez, even I have to admit that's an awful pun!

[hello][hello]  Loved the beautiful tri-colored rough collie.  We were proud owners of one for eleven years. Brought it for my two year old son (at the time), and the dog was named Stephen's Lad of Gwenkirk.  A real beauty in looks and actions. Still grieve for him.
