Title: Which character is used most for avatars?

It seems to my observant eye that Julia/Grayson Hall seems to be a very popular avatar.. . .ironic given the history of feelings about that character/actress.  So glad she finally arrived.

What are the stats anyway?  There are a few Vicki's and Barns, 1 or 2 Maggies. . .???

For damned sure, it isn't Willie....or Carl....or any other of John Karlen's personas.

And now that you've mentioned this I just noticed something else: There are NO Angeliques!

I noticed that there aren't any Angie's either. . .now is this because she reigned supreme for so many years and there seems to be this "friction" between Angie lovers and JuliaPhiles?  I don't know .. i think Angie is pretty cool and mean but my heart does belong to Julia. . i'd like to see her face on the Board (Angelique's i mean).

Now, Rainey. . as to Karlen. . .why isn't he **your** avatar?

Avatars are not Rainey's thing but it sure as hell is mine. Am I the only one with Willie as my avatar?

Thanks Carol....avatars are NOT my thing....tho I very much appreciated the witchy one Midnite found for me for Halloween :D

And yes, yours is the only one of John Karlen and it should be noted that picture is YOURS....not something that was made available on the forum!

There are Cassandras, but as for Angie girl herself there'll be one soon as I can figure out why my video card isn't letting me make captures. >:(

As are many of the avatars people are using. Avatars are meant to be an expression and/or representation of a person's personality, likes or dislikes - or just for fun, so we certainly encourage anyone who might like to make their own to do so. :)

Also, I think one has the right to decide what avatar they want, if any.

I'm sorry if i'm reading your note above wrong (it comes across a bit lecturing) but i meant to joke with Rainey for posing the "Karlen" question to begin with. . I'm not suggesting he adopt anything. . .If he's NOT an avatar guy, okay.  I don't know him so its new info to me.  It was an innocent avatar question and reply.

My response was not meant to be lecturing but since it bothered you, I edited it from my post. In a post from long ago, Rainey mentioned her love of Karlen and her aversion to avatars.  I was answering along that line of thought.

Thanks for the clarification all. . i read the Forum religiously but not all posts so I missed Rainey's remark about avatars.  

Anyway, if i'm a  bit sensitive blame it on the evilness above me in my apartment building. . .(landlords from hell and all). . so i'm paranoid that all my words are being misconstrued these days.  I gotta quick drinking caffinated (sp?) stuff and calm down!  J99 calm down!

AND now. . back to the original question .. WHO is most used as an avatar?? Methinks I know but i want verification from others. . .??

No - particularly when BG is depicted as the "Gates of Hell". If anything, they compliment each other. [wink2]
