Title: OT? Anno Dracula
Post by: arashi on January 14, 2012, 10:21:57 AM
I came across Kim Newman's Anno Dracula series tonight and was wondering if anyone here had read them and do you recommend the series? I love literary cross-overs so I think this is up my alley, but I just wanted to get an opinion from someone who had read them.

I think it's OT because I heard that Barnabas makes an appearance in them? That could be wrong, but it's what I read.

I read it many years ago and I thought it was really good, an interesting premise, where Dracula survived the end of the eponomous novel and now rules England, and vampirism is now commonplace. I don't remember if there's a Barnabas reference, I read the book a long time ago, but it's well worth a read imo

Thanks, I was still mulling over it while I finish Fangland, which is also pretty good. I'll give it a shot!
