I'M ready to guess, may I?
-
Yes, Dom, our lucky contest from Moderatorville, Nevada, You may take a guess - but keep in mind, consonants are worth the value of an ounce of The Professors best, and vowels are like The So-Called - Rev: absolutely worthless and void of any value.
-
I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND OF PETOFI ...and the heck with quentin, bring on VW lol and whew i hear the professor has some good shit, dont know if i could handle a lid of that stuff [crazd]

Well, that's a hell of a whole lot better than a life-time supply of strumpet red Lee Press-on Nails! [lghy]
Grateful Dom
PS - Though a $1,500.00 gift certificate to Lombardi's would have been nice too! ;)

Holy Hats! "Strumpet" is one of my favorite words!! My kid left her English teacher with her mouth open when the teacher asked if anyone knew what the "orange" girls were at the Globe Theatre...(they were reading "Romeo and Juliet")...and she answered "strumpets".
I got a phone call. ::)

Let's see....that would just about cover a pound and a half of veal cutlets, 2 loaves of bread, some Prosciutto Di Parma, and a wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano, at Lombardi's. Just barely! [lghy]

We have a weeener, Vanna spin those letters!
[Tripwire flips his lid!]
Dom snoozes, but possibly due to the 'host' having to run out to drop off the LAST OF THE SEVEN foster puppies to his home!
a consolation and substitution prize can be negotiated, and Merv Griffin Productions [oooooooh] had already considered a 'Tim Plate' for dom! ['scuse me for only thinking of the ladies!]
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for Joe Millionare!

LOL! I bet the teacher still tells that story. The first time I heard the word strumpet (isn't it delicious? Or and I thinking of crumpets?:)) was out of the mouth of Pheobie (sp?) Tyler on All My Children. I didn't even have to look it up; she was referring to her soon to be (or then) daughter-in-law Donna. I rolled on to the floor with laughter.

No doubt! If it's Italian bread "with seeds" (I love saying that!) it'll be worth it. I haven't had veal in ages! I love it but my hubby won't let it into the house - animal activist. Oh well, for better or worse...

Italian bread...with seeds
I order it "Semolina.....dark" I can't STAND half-baked bread! Blecchh!
Meanwhile, poor Ringo, who worked so hard on that wonderful graphic and came up with the game words, is wondering how his thread got hijacked by a pair of Italian food freaks. ?!?
Sorry Ringo....PLEASE!! Come up with another round of the game!!? :-/

Nothin' finer than a slim body in crisp white boxers. Love that easy access. [evilb] Hopefully the prop man will remember to turn the water on in the fountain (and be able to keep it running, lol). Wet white boxers on Tim Shaw...ahhh,

So glad this is a Merv Griffin production. Had this been Let's Make A Deal...well, what would I do with a hippopotamus? Why, I'd have to trash him from top to bottomus! (Doesn't get much cornier than this, does it?::))
Thanks for watching and stay tuned for Joe Millionare!
(Dom howls with laughter.)
time for a nap...

I'll take Tim, minus the boxers-or-briefs (call me a purist).
Strumpet is definitely what Miss Emily Dickinson would call "a word to raise your hat to." (if she bothered with such oddities as dangling prepositions, of course)
I for one cherish hearing Joan Collins refer to Heather Locklear's character on Dynasty as "that trollop, Sammy Jo!"
