    Your column is such a joy to read.  I wish I could give you a present.  I knit shawls, hats, mittens, slippers, and scarves.  I crochet doilies and floating afghans.  Let me know.  By the way, I could probably knit a better voodoo doll than Angelique but I would require more time than a commercial break.

I hate when that happens, lol.  I knew your birthday was this month and your [real] name is listed next to today's date, but it's the birthday of another poster with the same name.  Oops.

I'll change the title and, as Julianka said, we can celebrate your birthday for a week. :)

Hmmm, I wonder how I managed to post the blank message above?  Anyway, a pre-happy birthday to you Luciaphil. Hope you're staying warm where ever you are.  We're supposed to have sub-zero temps all next week.

Do you realize that tomorrow is Edgar Allen Poe's birthday?  I was reading a news article on the internet tonight that talks about a mysterious visitor who visits Poe's grave anytime during the hours of 12pm and 6am on the day of his birth.  The visitor(s) has been doing this since 1949 I believe.  He leaves 3 red roses, a half-full bottle of Cognac and occasionally some type of cryptic note.
