Title: For Your Viewing Pleasure (Sat. Eve)
Post by: Patti Feinberg on January 12, 2003, 03:53:32 AM
Just a heads up:
Tonight on Bravo @ 9p.m. et, 'Rosemary's Baby' (too creepy for me)
and at 10pm et on AMC, 'Frankenstein', a classic.

ROSEMARY'S BABY was a wonderful movie.

In 1968, when I turned 15, my mother took a bunch of my friends and I out for an Italian dunner, then to a now-defunct movie theater to see that flick.  We all loved it--and it WAS very scary.

I highly recommend it, but with reservations if you're pregnant.

Love, Robin

I watched "Rosemary's Baby" when it aired on another channel recently.  I had forgotten how masterful it really is, I found I couldn't move out of my seat until the picture was finished.  And the setting of the Dakota apartment building in NYC was great - it has all the gothic beauty and creepiness of Collinwood!

I guess I had better see if they have a Rosemary's Baby Almanac.   It didn't seem clear whether her husband was part of the coven prior to their move.  It seemed so since he so quickly agreed to the coven's plans for his child.
