17!  What a wonderful age!  Enjoy it to the fullest, Lindsey.

I was 16 when DARK SHADOWS went off the air in early April, and turned 17 that December, missing it still.  When I read my diary from that era, not a day goes by that I don't wish for the show to come back.  

It actually did, from a Rochester, NY station, while I was in college, and it helped ease my homesickness while I was away.  Ah, memories!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It was weird this year, not being in school on my birthday (normally my b-day is the first day back). I missed seeing all my friends on my birthday, so it was nice to come on here and see such warm wishes. Plus, I got sick a couple days ago and found out I have strep throat, so I spent my b-day mostly resting. Oh well, on the bright side, I didn't have to face the embarrassment of getting the Spanish version of Happy Birthday sung to me in Spanish 3! :) :)

Ahhhh! I still get the birthday song, and I wasn't even at school! And that's exactly how it is sung too. Even worse is the 2nd verse...
