If you have the station THIS in your area, you might be interested that I just noticed that Joan Bennett's The Woman in the Window is on THIS at 4pm ET.

This movie is also streaming on Netflix's if anyone is a member.

Also Scarlet Street, Highway Dragnet, The Scar, Bulldog Drummand and Fathers Little Dividend.

Woman in the Window has great acting.  Joan is seen with her same two co-stars from the superb Scarlet Street, and they had the same director (Fritz Lang) in both films.
But Window had a cop-out ending that ruined an otherwise terrific film.

Still, it's worth a look to see gorgeous Joan at her film career's peak.

PS: if you live in Northern CA, anywhere between San Jose, & San Francisco, including the Central Valley south of San Jose, or in the East Bay area near San Francisco, THIS TV is available on KTNC's digital subchannel, 42.3--it's not carried by any of the local cable or satellite services, but it comes in quite clearly with a digital antenna. THIS has a fun Halloween lineup coming up, so check it out.
