It truly is Christmas at Collinwood...

You must have been inspired by our wintry weather the other day. Very atmospheric beginning!

Actually, it was merely a foreshadowing of what we actually got. I wrote the prologue last week. Then on Thursday morning, we were getting ice and snow, but we still had electricity. I was in the process of posting it to the SFC board when POW. Electricity goes out. We've got four inches of ice, still no power at home, and probably won't get it back till mid next week. We came up to my mom's place since she's still got power; fortunately, the main roads are mostly passable. I had saved the prologue to my online storage site, so I was able to post it from here.

Now THIS boy has foresight!!
No power 'till next week? That's horrible. I can take just about anything except losing power.
By the way, thanks for all the snow. It came from down YOUR way and through the Virginias.

Yeah! What IS this stuff? We got about 6-7 inches in central NJ. Some of it's finally starting to melt. (I can tell 'cause you can now see my little Buddha's head out in the corner of the yard). It looks so funny when we get around half a foot of snow -- all you see is this HEAD sticking out of the snow. ROFL
NO power what about my hair dryer ?????
Well now, you see, that isn't a problem for Mark. You know why? Because REAL men don't USE hair dryers!
