I'm not familiar with the author, but loved this statement:  "It was vampire and werewolf crack and I was a spook fiend."

Yes, I loved that too. And I suspect that's a good portion of how/why most of us got hooked.  [ghost_cheesy]

Fun article, although I was a bit confused until I realized that "quaffed fur" should have been "coiffed fur." I was wondering how the werewolf drank fur. So much for Spell Check.

Sadly we all know only too well that Spell Checks only check for correct spelling, not usage.  [ghost_sad]  Someone should really incorporate some sort of Grammar Check into them. Though I suspect that's still several years off because at this point it would be a hugely complicated bit of programming. But that being said -

Not at all familiar with his writing but it's a very good article. Rite of passage for most of us original fans apparently
