It's a wonder that QUENTIN doesn't crack up!!

And how he ever managed to do those "zombie" scenes looking all wide-eyed and still keeping a straight face is beyond belief to me! ;-)

Annie, it's funny that you should mention Quentin being the comedian because while I was watching the show tonight with my Parents (they love it!!)  my Dad happen to mention that Quentin does his best when he's cynical!!  He's especially good when he's talking to Edward, who's always so pompous & stuffy!! ;-)

Along that line, I thought one of the best lines in a long while was Quentin to Edward:  "Your children will be better off with Simon Legree than that so-called Reverend Trask!"

I think he's at his best when he does EVERYTHING!
(Particularly when he's drunk).

Connie my dear,

At long last,  YOU have captured the essence of Quentin Collins!  something NOBODY ELSE has managed to do!

I just love it when Selby plays drunken Quentin.  One of my fave scenes is that "morning after" that big night at the Hi Hat Lounge!  And Grayson plays the straight man pricelessly in that scene, too.

Admiringly,  Steve

Hi Steve,
Ya know what my favorite drunk scene is?  The one where Olivia comes in and Quentin's been drinking in her suite ('cause his room doesn't have a bar) lol.
And he's showing her how he can walk in a straight line, etc.  You know the one I mean??
I think Selby is brilliant with the comedy and giggling one moment, and anger the very next.

The damned emoticons aren't working again.

If you reply to someone else's message that has the smileys disabled, then they'll automatically be turned off in yours too, and ditto for anyone replying to you after that if you haven't enabled them.  Gothick usually disables them, if that helps.

If the smileys in your message aren't showing up for you, click Modify and see if the box is checked.  I'm sure that's what happened above since they're disabled in this reply too.

Whoa!  I didn't know that!  Thank you dear.
(Ya know, ya learn something new every day).
I always wondered why sometimes they wouldn't work!  [hdscrt]
