Well, it certainly fooled me and even looking at it I can't tell that it is doctored. Is this in response to the "nude" Grayson Hall photo? I'm still way impressed...

I would guess that it's the back cover shot from In and Out of the Shadows circa his Falcon Crest days, though lately I'm partial to several other more recent photos. ;-)
And thanks for helping me run the counter up on the site's Photo Gallery while people try to figure out where this photo originated. lol
