Title: Extra Savings At Amazon On Pre-ordered DVD/Blu-rays
Post by: Mysterious Benefactor on July 28, 2011, 06:37:12 PM
If you pre-order DVD/Blu-rays at Amazon, chances are pretty good that with their Pre-order Price Guarantee you're going to get them for cheaper than what they're being listed at, which is normally already a very good price (like 40-to-50% off - sometimes more). A few people have told me this, but it wasn't until recently that I experienced it for myself. I pre-ordered the 3rd season of Damages along with the movies Insidious and Source Code. I ended up having my credit card reimbursed $1.50 for Damages (final DVD price $19.99), $1 for Insidious (final DVD price $15.99), and $2 for Source Code (final Blu-ray price $17.99). And. of course, there's no sales tax - and free shipping for over $25.  [ghost_wink]  So, it's something to keep in mind if there are DVD/Blu-rays that you like to buy when they're first released...

Insidious is really good. I thought it would completely suck, but I ended up loving it. Very interesting!

Yes, I loved Insidious (though it helps that I really like Damages' Rose Byne). Some good scares. And even better ones if you're watching it alone in the dark.  [ghost_cheesy]

Insidious made me realize how creepy Tiny Tim's Tip Toe Through The Tulips really is!

Definitely David! That was one of my favorite sequences in the movie.
