Interesting interview.  He doesn't seem aware of the degree to which the studios have pulled back from their participation in the event, however.

When it comes to TV, the studios are still full court press as it were at Comic Con. For example, even though Warner Brothers isn't promoting a single feature film at this year's Comic Con, they have huge events planned for their established shows like The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Nikita, and their new show The Secret Circle.

Why Warner Brothers has such a totally different promotional model for TV versus Film this year is the big question...
