Title: WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY
Post by: VAM on November 01, 2002, 04:48:50 AM
The storyline now revolves around Grandmama's will. Does anyone remember other times during the show when a will was not only  another part of the plot but also a word uttered in conversation?

When Vicky & Burke were engaged to be married, Vicky wanted so much to live in "the house by the sea." When Burke went to talk to Elizabeth about possibly buying the place,  she said that old Caleb Collins had onced owned the house and stated in his will that the house cannot be sold for one hundred years.

In 1795 Daniel told Lt.Forbes that Millicent's will claimed that if anything should happen to her,  he (Daniel) would inherit all of her money & wealth.  Lt.Forbes wasn't too happy about that one![greed]

In 1840 when Daniel is on his last legs, he changes his will and leaves everything to Gerard (!) because he's convinced Quentin is guilty.

Great judgement, hmm?

This may be a bit of a stretch, but I know that Naomi inherited the Old House. She mentioned that fact when she gave the Old House to Barn & Ange as a wedding gift. A will may have been mentioned but I can't honestly say that I remember hearing the word.

Didn't Liz change her *will* to include specific instructions about her burial when she was under that curse by Cassangelique?
