Title: Return to Collinwood in Autograph Collector!

Just a "heads up" about my Dark Shadows article in AUTOGRAPH COLLECTOR magazine! It will officially hit the stands on November 12th! I just received an advance copy, and they did a gorgeous layout--and this is only Part One! The article is profusely illustrated with letters and autographed photos from Jonathan Frid, Joan Bennett; Kathryn Leigh Scott, Louis Edmonds, Dennis Patrick, Humbert Allen Astredo, Marie Wallace, Diana Millay, and Jerry Lacy! Pamela Anderson is on the cover, and it's the December 2002 issue.

AUTOGRAPH COLLECTOR can be found at every bookstore, from Barnes and Noble to Borders and beyond.

Part Two of "Return to Collinwood" features my story as an "old" fan club president and includes comments from Dee Kearney (Louis Edmonds fan club) and Robert Finocchio (Diana Millay fan club). The article was written in cooperation with Jim Pierson, of Dan Curtis Productions.  I've also written a tribute to the late Dennis Patrick, which will appear in Part Two.

Thanks!  I just got word late this afternoon that PART II (on sale in mid-December) will feature 5 big pages of DS material, including 23 autographed photos! There'll also be a memoriam to Dennis Patrick!

How proud you must feel to have your article figure so prominently on the cover.  It's now displayed on their website (thank you, Tim!) at http://www.autographcollector.com/acm.htm

I already scoped out where I can buy the issues and am looking forward to your articles!

Thanks for the kind words, Midnite! I was really pleased with how Part I came out, since nothing was cut!  I'm very anxious to see Part II, which features stuff from Jim Pierson.

Congrats on your publication.  I look forward to seeing it.  The tribute to Mr. Patrick sounds extra special. It is gratifying to see him remembered.

Hi yendor - and congratulations.  This must be quite a thrill!  I think it'll be quite a thrill for many of us too.  Think about it!  When was the last time any of us actually headed to a stand to buy a magazine with ANYTHING Dark Shadows in it?  Let's see...I was probably 14 and thumbing through the latest Tiger Beat or something.  LOL

I am SO looking forward to your article, especially the pictures!  This will be great fun.

Alas, Pam Anderson is on the cover, and she merits only a mention inside. The Dark Shadows article is the LEAD piece and is mentioned first on the cover, but there's no picture!

I'm also working on a second article (haven't decided where to send it, though) entitled "Don't Open That Coffin!"  It'll feature full length interviews with KLS, Marie Wallace, Diana Millay, and David Selby. I'll keep you updated.  

Would you guys be interested in reading a MOCK fan club newsletter from circa 1969/1897? I could post the first page for you.  I think I'll do that!
