Kendrick, firmly ensconced in the non-supernatural, thinks he's going to rescue the fairy princess Melanie - young and sweet, just as Stella was - from the trolls in the Collins family.  He has no idea that the Collins family evil is firmly ensconced in Melanie.  Julia knows, but she can't tell Kendrick that his fairy princess murdered his sister.  Wonderful situation.

And in comes Gabriel through the secret panel to kill Kendrick, just as Gabriel in our time came through the secret panel in our time to kill Gerard.  More fun!  During the opening voiceover, when we looked at Gabriel, he smiled.  Usually when we look at a character during a voiceover, he or she stands there looking solemn, but Gabriel smiled.  Hurrah for Christopher Pennock!

I liked Gabriel's smiling, gloating face during the VO, too.

Good for Kendrick telling Julia that he can't be bought--at any price!
