Hermes Press vexes you with DARK SHADOWS Volume Two (http://www.comiclist.com/index.php/news/hermes-press-vexes-you-with-dark-shadows-volume-two)

This article has a detail about the comic book reprints that I didn't realize - that the digitally remastered full color is of a higher quality than the comic book's original printing. If only they could has somehow digitally improved the actual artwork and the stories. But alas...

It truly boggles the mind that enough people must have purchased volume one that they are actually moving forward with the second volume.

Re-mastered, re-digitized, re-upholstered rubbish is still rubbish... by any other name.

Well, I did buy the first volume...and I had ordered volume 2 last year but cancelled due to delays.  Anyway, I still have some of the original comic books from my youth.  Whether dreck or not, when one if 12 or 13. . .'nuf said.

I was impressed with the first volume and can't wait for the second.  I can't afford to buy the original comic books, so this is a great alternative.

I enjoy the comics for what they are and also take into account when they were published. I just wish that Hermes would provide Amazon with stock. SUPPOSEDLY the book is out, but Amazon has an indefinate delivery date.  We went through that with volume 1. I guess it was too much to hope it would be corrected for the second edition.
