Carol has to have eye surgery in the morning. Assuming all goes well, she'll be out of the hospital and home in the afternoon. Could y'all keep your fingers crossed and send positive thoughts for a smooth and quick recovery?
Ya know, this whole thing and what she's been going through the past few days sucks to high heaven.
BUT...in every cloud there's a silver lining. Shall we take a look?
BAD POINTS
1. This ROTS.
2. Had to watch Willie yesterday with one eye.
GOOD POINTS
1. She doesn't have to work for the rest of the week.
2. Husband has to do the marketing.
3. He has to get up off his butt and do a few things around the house.
4. The old boy MAY even learn how to make dinner.
(Nah....LOL. Carol will most likely end up with take-out.)
Anyway, if she's up to it, she'll probably be reading the board tonight. Soooo, could everyone send their good wishes?? Thanks.

Best wishes, Carol! And a speedy recovery.
Sincerely,
Dom (Who'll be sending Mrs. Johnson over with some chicken soup. Be polite to her. She may be a little grumpy being she had to cook it over the Old House's wood burning stove.)
P.S. I chopped the wood! :)

Hi Carol, I send you my best for a speedy & healthy recovery! Take care of yourself and know that we're all here rooting for ya!
And just think how much better you'll be able to see the new storyline that coming up, and especially that crazy prankster Carl Collins! ;-)

Wishing you all the best, Carol. Hope it goes smoothly and you'll be seeing it all bright and clear!
There was no indication of what sort of surgery, but I found my cataract surgery to be wonderful. Wearing glasses always gave me a headache and occasionally there was a problem with contacts, let alone all the fuss of caring for them. Once the cataracts were replaced with implants, I haven't needed anything. It's been fantastic!!

Praying for you Carol that things will be fine .
Keeping you in my thoughts always.

Have a speedy recovery, Carol, and make sure your hubby spoils you rotten (break out those bon-bons and milk it to the max!).

I'm wishing you a speeding recovery Carol, I hope all is okay with your eyes, and that your husband will help you out and be good to you. On Thursday, I am having surgery done on my eyes, LASIK surgery. I am getting it for correction of my near sightedness and astigmatism, so I won't have to wear glasses or contacts anymore. My little girl's father will be here to take care of her, so I can get my rest afterwards, and luckily Friday is Nevada Day, no school. Hopefully I will be ready for the 3rd Annual Halloween Bash at Albertson's on Saturday. My daughter wants to participate in the coloring contest, pumpkin drawing contest, pie eating contest, costume contest, etc. Fun!

Here's hoping for the best, Carol! I wish you a quick recovery and clearer vision.

Carol,
Hope all went well. It must have been the day for eye surgury. I took my mother today to have more lazer work done on her eye. She did great. The worst part was the wait the doctor was running two hours behind. Thinking of you.

Update
Carol came through surgery fine but she's not feeling very well and is trying to rest. Hopefully she'll be doing better tomorrow.
Good news: Husband has been at her "beck and call".
Yes....looks like there's hope for that boy yet.

My dear Carol, I wish you success in your operation along with a speedy recovery... do get well soon! :)
-
carol, i'm hoping you get well soon.
or, you can decide to be ill just a bit longer so that husband has to work harder and appreciate you a bit more.
me personally, i had surgery in august and my old man had to do everything and i mean everything for 4 weeks. (we did finally have to have the housekeeper in for extra time to do the dishes since the lazy boy couldn't handle it. lol [roll3])
i was simply the woman of luxury who watched ds videos and/or played playstation all day long. oh the memories....
