maybe i'll buy a Dell now that Stephen is gone!

Did you hear that they won't be using him anymore?

SNL did a hysterical skit with Seth Meyers playing him during the last Weekend Update, with a shrink listing his various psych disorders before taking him away.  "Dude, I'm getting thorazine!"

I saw this news on the TVGuide.com site. They always have funny, sarcastic headlines over their daily news briefs. Today it was:

Dude! You're getting fired! :-)

Actually they are now reporting that he is not fired and will be back for more Dell commericals.

Well, who knows where that info came from in the first place? Many of you might recall that back in August I warned you that I'd read in eWEEK that Dell planned to use him for quite some time to come. ;) (Shoddy reporting, TVGuide Online!!)

And for those of you who have been longing to see his ads again, by all means check out:

saw on CNN that they are trying the new ads
and that "stephen' is on the backburner for a while
one can only hope he gets overdone on it because IMHO that is what Dell has done with him!i just find him insulting but then i dislike most ads and really don't buy things based on them sure i get "burned" sometimes but

The last time I saw a Dell commercial, there was a different boy in it, better looking, a little more serious. Who was he? Not that I really care!
