Another internet series apparently intended as something of a pastiche of Dark Shadows--publicity also references the X Files.  The heroine is named Vicki Burke and the show is filmed in Maine:

It was apparently promoted on Dark Shadows Journal Online but I haven't seen a thread for it here.  And have not had time yet to check it any of the four currently available shows.  It did receive a favorable review on the Classic Horror Films fan board.

As I said back then, it's really too bad that it was never developed by Soap net. But at least there is the Web series now, and what I've seen of it is impressive.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but I really like it! It's atmospheric and seems very well thought out and executed. The acting isn't bad either.
