[It's up to the first poster to come up with a set up, and then each following post will either complete it or fill in the blank(s). And, as always, whoever posts the set up is certainly allowed to post their own completion/fill in as a follow up.]

Setup:
Mordecai: Dear Mr. Trask, I have received your bill for my daughter Mildred's funeral, sent to me because my worthless son-in-law is drowning his sorrows in liquor. While it is not my responsibility to pay this bill, I wish to dispute an item or two in it anyway: ________

"I wish to dispute an item or two in it anyway:
First, it was in extremely poor taste to dress my beloved daughter as a tart simply because you had some of Lorna Bell's clothes left from her service and they were in better condition that the clothes my drunkard of a son-in-law had provided you - but then to charge for Miss Bell's clothing went beyond the pale!
There was absolutely no need to charge for applying blue color to Mildred's skin because she was not expected to rise as a vampire - and no, experimenting to perfect the color just in case future vampires might pass through the Trask Memorial Chapel was not a legitimate excuse!"

Awesome setup and awesome fill-in... Great stuff!
...I will have to ponder a worthy response.

It was most sporting of Miss Belle's "soroity sisters" to console Mordecai after the service but I am a loss to understand what part of the healing process required a riding crop. Nor do I understand the need for Mordecai to have a pair of spiked heels.
