Title: Happy 1971

I hope that everyone in the Watching Project, and all our ships out at sea, will join me in wishing Collinsport a very happy new year of 1971. Yes, there have been deaths and general untidiness, and more zombies than a person generally likes to have roaming around without supervision, but at least Barnabas and Julia aren't there, which might serve as some small source of consolation to the survivors, that at least things won't be getting worse anytime soon.
I feel, though, that 1995-Summer 1970-1840-1 are in a Temporal Bubble (patent pending), separate from "real" DS 1971, so probably the 1971 characters are still wondering when B&J will get back from Parallel Time. They may all be very happy indeed, even unsedated.
I just hope that the Beatles get back together sometime soon, and that DS goes on for a great many years to come.

We miss New Year's Day 1966 because DS starts in June of '66. People could celebrate it, of course - but they'd be more than a bit late. [snow_cheesy]

I thought it was hysterical the last time I saw the film Rosemary's Baby and realized that in the movie, 1966 was going to be proclaimed the year 1 of Satan. I guess the baby was supposed to be born in June of '66 because of the whole 666 thing. What a riot.
