Michael Stroka’s last appearance?  What a shame.  I would have liked to see more of Laszlo interacting with Barnabas.  It seems strange, after Stroka had such solid roles in 1897 and in 1970 parallel time, that his role in 1840 was so skimpy.  Oh, and by the way, did my ears deceive me or did Laszlo say his last name was Ferrari?

And did my eyes deceive me, or did Daphne come downstairs in her nightie after her dream?

I don't think we ever get to see Mordecai Grimes and his daughter Mildred together, do we?  I keep imagining Jim Ward looking very uncomfortable at Grimes family holiday gatherings.  If Mildred Grimes was the best he could find in Collinsport, he should have gone to Bangor for a wife.

Elizabeth Eis is very pretty.  There's another Grimes- Jeremy Grimes.

I always liked Elizabeth Eis. And Lydia, I love your comment about those Grimes family gatherings.

And too bad about Michael Stroka. I feel like we were just getting to know Laszlo--and yes, I'm pretty sure his last name is Ferrari! Perhaps like Count Petofi's aide-de-camp, Laszlo also, um, decamped.

The onset of the witchcraft trial business just makes me weary.  What a way to reward long-term viewers, who saw Victoria Winters in the same cell, and also saw Quentin accused of murder not that long ago in PT.

True, but Quentin is so charmingly disheveled!  [snow_smiley]

Joeytrom, Elizabeth Eis is pretty enough, but Mildred's looks will fade long before her ornery personality does.  I do prefer Eis in feisty roles, though.
