Though that does bring up an interesting question that I can honestly say I never thought about before: Does Julia smoke in 1840? We never see her do so. But I seriously doubt she doesn't - not someone as addicted to smoking as she is on the show!!

I suppose she sneaks off to do it in hiding. And she probably has Barnabas buy her cigarettes for her...

I know that we see Julia smoking in HODS but I honestly can't recall the last time we saw her light up on the show.
