....I'm NOT loosing my mind!!

I KNOW there were posts on here this morning that I can't find now....things that I KNOW I read, like one of Luciaphil's better tirades that are GONE!!....

Explanation, please, Mr. Benefactor.....I know you're always tinkering around here, but I've never seen a day's worth of posts just VANISH before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, you're sure not imagining it.  We're seeing a slightly older version of the board, so posts and IMs added since yesterday afternoon aren't showing up.

Will get back to you about it soon.

Hoping you can get it back.  I had problems entering my "tirade" :) (completely unrelated to the site, or anything to do with the boards) and I don't think I'm up to having to type it all up again.

Not exactly topic, but question:

Do you guys pay for this site out of your own pocket?  I know you must devote a huge chunk of your time to maintaining it as it is (and let me assure you it's highly appreciated :) )

I'm glad someone brought this up because I thought I was going nuts again(it's a short trip!).

I'm also missing a message from Raineypark that I read but didn't delete--at least I don't remember deleting it. Will it come back?

At around 10 this morning (east coast time) the forum reverted to a version from late afternoon yesterday, and I don't as yet know why it occurred.  I lost some IMs too; also, a few new topics in Current Talk, 1 new topic in Idle Thoughts, and 3 new topics in the Members' Archives as well as several messages are absent, but whether the boards can be restored and to what degree is something I can't answer yet.

To answer Luciaphil's question, yes, we do.  And thanks. :)
