Title: ON TIME
Post by: VAM on September 08, 2002, 03:48:29 AM
The montage depicts a timepiece which is an important prop in the storyline this week. For the large part on DS, characters walked around Collinsport or Collinwood with no sense of the hour of day. However, there were certain events that occurred in a timely fashion such as a Vampire returning to his or her coffin. That dinner invitation to search Nicholas Blair's house.  What were some other scenes that made use of TIME?

Harry Johnson staring nervously at the clock in the foyer, knowing that it was TIME to go to the Old House, to poison Joe Haskell.

Nathan watched the clock as he was awaiting Barnabas to arrive to kill him.

It was 10 o'clock that Nicky-Baby was told to come to Barnabas's house for "a late supper".  He was met by Barnabas (of course), Professoe Stokes, and a little while later, Dr. Julia "let me give you a sedative" Hoffman.  Barnabas was called away, he said to talk to Elizabeth, but really, he was on his way to Nicky house.

Quentin can't get to the train to meet Amanda to run away together on time because Tate hid portrait! Angelique then stops him from following her! best thing she ever did!

At one point, an exasperated Nicholas gave Cassandra until midnight to find out why her Dream Curse failed with Barnabas; however, when she whined to him about needing an extension, he cut her deadline to 9:00. [evilg]

She discovered the tape recorded message just as the clock was striking...

Didn't Quentin have a rendez-vous scheduled with the ghost of Daphne for midnight during the 1970 storyline?

Just recently Diabolis gave Nickolas 48 hours to resurrect Eve,  or else.......[kaiokn]

Angelique sent Eve back in time to find the evidence she needed regarding Peter Bradford. She had only 6 hours to do this or she might never return.

Adam sent Harry Johnson with a message to Carolyn, asking her to meet him "in his old room" at Collinwood at 10:00pm,  so she could meet his new friend. (Eve)

Julia hides her notebook in the clock in the foyer to keep it from Carolyn and Barnabas. When the clock fails to strike the hour (I think it was 9:00) Carolyn gets suspicious and Julia is thrown into a panic.

Joe's clutch realization that 3 last night and 3 this morning are the same time saved David from death at the hands of his mom's supernatural powers.
