[laughing4]  Though I had something a bit more risque in mind, which is where many fans' minds seem to go whenever the fact that David and Hallie spent a lot of time alone in each others' rooms is brought up.  [wink2]

Then again, maybe they were planning an orgy with Josette, Bill Malloy, the Widows, and Sarah.  [b003]

Since David Lynch likes to cast people from days gone by (Grant Goodeve, Peggy Lipton, Ann Miller, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, to name a few), it's somewhat surprising that he's never cast any DS alumni in anything. At least so far.

Maybe they've never auditioned for any of his projects...

Or Tim Burton, for that matter.

(Very true! But then, maybe she did but Burton feels the "right" part for KLS simply hasn't come up - especially when his current muse/DS actor is most definitely Eva Green...)

Perhaps if Frid had lived a bit longer (and if there was interest from both sides), he would have been featured in more Burton films, in a similar fashion to Vincent Price and Christopher Lee. The biggest horror icon from the golden era would have to be Barbara Steele but her close relationship with Lisa Marie seems to have made that unlikely. [easter_cry] [easter_cry]

I had the same thought. Though Frid seemed rather frail in the Depp/DS film, so who knows if he would have even been up to it...

I had no idea about that. It explains a lot...
