Wish I had known ahead of time that KLS was on, but I consoled myself thinking that I may have seen that episode about a year ago, if it was the one where she played a judge and was on some TV panel or something.
What's funny is, when I got home a couple of hours later, I turned on the TV, and a DIFFERENT episode of "Matlock" was on -- this one with Roger Davis. I think he was playing the leader of some sort of cult, but I only watched a few minutes.

yep, it was the one where she played a lovely and talented judge. I have the RD episode on tape, too, and if you saw him at all, you probably saw his whole appearance, as he was the head of some cult and was the victim d'zure [sp?], knocked off in the first few minutes of the show. [bet some here love that part!] that ep also has Andy defending Howard Sprage [at least the actor that played him] in a 'mayberry' cross-over, they did that a lot on matlock, like with barney [fife, not collins] and helen krump and briscoe darling, and some others.
i think my fave cameo of hers is a 'Switch', where she comes to the door just wearing robert wagner's shirt [or something like that -not much blood flow above the neck for me or gerard during that scene!] truly inspirational!

I'm gonna hafta look for that episode sometime, Ringo, if the series is aired again (I'm sure it will be). But then, I'm not very good with passing out with the vapors.
