an under rated film that feels like an extension of DS!

well, i was just going to say that this story could have been a Dark Shadows storyline, and it could have been stretched out for while. 


but, it's a great movie.   based on a novel, but i don't recall who wrote it.

and my favorite actress, Bette Davis was in it and this was the one and only time I ever saw her on the BIG SCREEN.   Wonder how Davis got along with Curtis.   She was know to direct the director, you know.   

and Oliver Reed and Karen Black were excellent in this movie as well.

The novel was written by Robert Marasco - and it's far superior to the film. But that's so often the case....
