Title: Rebroadcast of DS Cast on SoapTalk

Someone was kind enough to post this information on alt.tv.dark_shadows.

SOAPNet will rebroadcast the episode of SoapTalk featuring the Dark Shadows cast reunion on Labor Day.

The message on the newsgroup also stated that there would be a Dark Shadows segment on SoapCenter on Labor Day as well, but I've not been able to find this mentioned anywhere on the SoapNet site.

The DS segment on Soaptalk will indeed air on Monday Sept 2! When you go on Soapnet's site, click on the Soaptalk page on the lower right. It brings up the schedule for the week, and the DS cast reunion is listed in the lineup.
Thank you for telling us about this, I missed it the first time around and can't wait to see it!

Thank you for posting this, I had no idea they would be reshowing the cast on Soap Talk, I'll be sure to watch.

The SoapTalk segment isn't the one that I can't find squat about on the site. It's the SoapCenter segment, which could very well be a repeat as well because they have done a DS feature in the past with outtakes of the cast from the 2000 Fest in LA.

Your right, there are two different 'soap' talkshows on that channel. I forgot about the other one. SoapCenter,((Not SoapTalk)) is also listed on their site. You have to go to the main Soapnet home page. Then click on "Only on Soapnet" along the red banner. THis will bring you to a page that allows you access to "Soapcenter" schedules. The line up for the week does not say anything about a DS segment airing. But this may only be a partial list.

I would love to hear everyone's commentary on the show who hasn't seen it yet. We do not get that channel, and I also love to hear what the cast says. Thanks!

I watched and taped both the rebroadcast of SoapTalk, and the SoapCenter segment. It was great seeing the Dark Shadows stars and hearing what they had to say, also seeing the footage/bloopers from the show. I saw some footage that was shot at one of the Fests too. I recognized a few fans, including VAM. The rebroadcast is coming on again at 11pm.

I watched the DS segment yesterday and enjoyed seeing the stars chat about the show -- especially Karlen. Naturally, he hardly has to say a word to get people cracking up.

It's not unexpected, I guess, but the hosts spent almost the entire segment talking about the bloopers for which DS is famous. The cast took everything graciously, but that stuff is such old hat for them I bet they wish they could talk about something else altogether. I know I would.

My favorite bit was when the stars are asked if they see each other regularly. Everyone says yes, they stay in touch, except John; he looks rightly put out and says, "I haven't seen any of these people in 15 years!" That was a hoot.
