Title: Is there difficulty registering new members?

Several people on a list of mine have not been able to register to the board.  Is there a problem?  They've been directed to try again later.

Yes, this is the message they're receiving:

Sorry but registrations are closed for now! Please check back later!

Registrations were closed to new members a couple of weeks ago in an attempt to monitor both bandwidth and any possible actions of our server.  You might not be aware that a while back our server cut us off for a few hours, and we've been trying our best since then to prevent it from happening again-- first by stopping guest traffic and most recently by temporarily cutting off registrations, but despite doing these things the board is busier than ever, wow!  Anyway, we'd very much appreciate if you could let your friends know that this is definitely not a permanent thing, though right now I can't say when registrations will be reopened.  Thanks!

Thanks Midnite.  They were directed to the board to view Robservations while Robin is on vacation.  I'll see that they don't miss out.  It's an easy fix for now.  Thanks again.   :-*
