Without spoing anything will Don be on for the remainder of the show? ?!?Paul
I see Don B in the montage. . .how exciting! I look forward to his re-introduction .. although I have to admit I found some if it a bit lame. . e.g. Julia getting in a car with him 10 mins after seeing him and screaming. . .that shows a MAN wrote that episode!
POSSIBLE SPOILER...
Barn. has to kind of shame her into it (at first), as I recall.
MrsJ.
True and then he abandons the whole idea and she's left alone with the bag trying all by herself to help Chris after the sojourn in 1795. . .she shoulda just seduced the guy. . .perhaps that would've cured is lycanthropy. . .
I am always trying to describe Don's voice and I can't find put my finger on it. How would you all describe it? ?!?Paul
Jennifer:
Cover your ears:
Paul, IMHO,gravel or

Okay Jennifer, uncover your ears :D
But of course Jennifer!!
I also like the introduction of Amy Jennings. It gives David someone to get into trouble with!

Except I always think she's going to blow up like a balloon and turn purple, like she did in Willie Wonka... ;D
That's the part I remember from my childhood and of watching DS with my mom. The vampires and Werewolves.
I really remember that part of it too from my childhood, used to watch it with my Mom too. We have cool Mom's! 8)
I liked Denise the best out of all the child actors on the show. She seemed the most natural. It was unfortunate she didn't have much to do once they got into 1897.
And Im still watching it with my mom!! ;)
Really?! I can't imagine hearing that slightly raspy voice and thinking that! If it made you think of sex. sex and MORE sex, then I would understand.... [wink2]

But...ooohla la....what's in store for us!!!
<snip>
gypsies, tramps & thieves!!!
Possible spoilage--
Hmmm. Coming up in 1897, Magda is one of several gypsies, Aristede or Tim Shaw could be the thief, so I guess the tramp would be..............
Amanda Harris.
Heheh.

Like Gary Cooper???
If you want to hear Don's voice and a DS chat with other cast members, I picked this up off another site:

I had read fans picketed outside the dark shadows studios so they brought Don Briscoe back. Did he leave the series at one time or what happened - does anyone know?

Having listened to his voice since I posted that, I am going to change my description from slightly raspy to nasal, in spite of the negative connotations that USUALLY has. I stand firm on the sex, sex, sex part though! [pimp]

;) I think his voice is a raspy whisper. When Don Briscoe played Tom Jennings....I was about to offer him MY neck instead of him biting Julia.
I'm just glad he's back. :)
Yeah, Don's voice is sumptuous ...
It's like a rich, sultry, satiny pool of warm inviting cream (quick, Ringo, get me the Herb Alpert "Whipped Cream and other delights" album cover with Don in the place of that tired strumpet on the cover).
Like the finest golden vintage of Andalusia ...
Like a luxuriant stream of gilded moonlit honey ...
Boy, am I glad that Don Briscoe the STUDMUFFIN is back on DS!
Jennifer and Kuanyin, you ladies have excellent taste!

Don has the best voice of anybody on the show in my opinion.
