Title: - Fest Website Update -
Post by: Connie on August 23, 2002, 01:35:40 PM
I've added a few pictures to my humble little website.  (The keyword here is 'humble'.)  They're not that spectacular, but what can I say?

Ya know, trying to do a webpage is one big pain-in-the-ass.  I gotta learn how to do it properly one of these days.

I loved it, Connie!  Don't underestimate your abilities as a webmaster (webmistress?).

My computer insists on torturing me by refusing to load one of the pics.  Its caption says "THIS is what I call quality time." Can you pretty please tell what I'm missing?

It's a picture of me kissing David Selby.   :-*
Ya know, since I added the Sunday page, I've over-run my webspace and here and there the other pages aren't loading right.  I'm gonna have to mess with it.

I hate AOL Hometown webpages.  I can't figure them out.  All I did was add a link to the first page, and now the counter has been reset.

Tearing my hair out, (what there is of it)

That's good to know because that pix wasn't visible and the Sunday page was unavailable.

Well, as of this moment, all the pages are loading, and all the pictures are showing up.
(Who knows if they will an hour from now).

Oh wow!  You weren't kidding about "quality time". :o

Thank you, Connie.  I didn't realize that what I was asking would be a hassle, and what you did is much appreciated.

AOL isn't known as AOHell for nothing, Connie. [wink2]

Would it surprise anyone that AOL placed dead last (for both dial-up and broadband connection) in PC Magazine's Reader's Poll? [lghy]
(For dial-up, local ISP ranked 1st, with AT&T WorldNet and Earthlink tied for 2nd. For broadband, Optimum Online ranked 1st, with Road Runner coming in 2nd. (AOL was tied for last in this category with Comcast and SBC.))

Great Photo's!  I think you did a wonderful job.  I would not have a clue on how to set up a web page.  It is beyond my pointy little head.  It brought back wonderful memories of last years fest.
