I didn't watch today's dream but let's get folks ideas of the best and worst dream sequences .. I actually liked the dream Julia had last week . .she wasn't even in it and it wise a nice POV camera work.
Worst? Hmm i'll have to think. ?!? ?!?

Some of the worst dreams had to be during the Dream Curse, the bats, and the spiderweb. The best one I like is David Collins's dream where Sarah takes him to the Old House basement, and he sees the coffin, then it opens up and Barnabas comes out. That was spooky!

Well, the worst ones include that danged skeleton! Give it a rest, already! >:(

Worst: Each and every one of those stupid Dream Curse Nightmares
Best: the one for David's birthday party with the puppets and written by Violet Welles. Creepy, quite as askew as dreams generally are, and just damn good.

I liked Maggie's dream of seeing herself dead in the coffin back when Barnabas was planning to kidnap her. It was suitably eerie and not overdone with too many disco lights or a tie-dyed background (I always found that distracting.) Today's dream was a good one too.
The cheesiest dreams were during the Dream Curse; I fully agree there. Most of the time, I thought that the dream sequences were pretty abstract. There was one in 1897 when Rachel dreamed of looking for Jamison that I found to be particularly bizarre. IIRC, Carl was dressed as a train conductor and brandished a giant pocket watch. I didn't really grasp the point of it all. ?!?

LOL!! You're right about that! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the heck that was suppose to be about. It looked kind of silly if you ask me.
That along with that whole dream curse saga had to be worst of the bunch.[puke]

A pretty good one that I can remember off hand is during 1897 when Charity Trask had a dream about her own wedding day, only it wound up being a funeral instead. Pretty creepy thing to dream. [skull]

Worst were all the Dream Curse segments.
Best would have to be (spoiler) Rachel's odd dream in 1897--it was very surreal, and I think a warning to Miss Drummond about the dangerous place she had come to.
I also like the one Luciaphil refers to, with David's birthday party. That was genuinely scary.

I agree about the Dream Curse Nightmares except the one with Professor Stokes and his nteresting confrontation with Angelique.
Yes, David's birthday party was quite good.

SPOILER...
Remember that dream Quentin had in 1897 with dead Grandmama Edith haunting him about the will? I thought that shot of her in the coffin with her eyes open and that hideous smile was pretty damned SPOOKY!

I don't know about best, since I've only seen around 300-350 episodes from the 1966, 1967, 1968, 1795, and 1840 sequences. I did enjoy the one that aired yesterday. Very surreal camera work.
For worst, I'd have to say the dream curse ones. I HOPE nothing gets as bad as they did. I did enjoy the one with Professor Stokes, and I liked how they finally dropped the regular format with Vicki and Barnabas.

During what time sequence did David have this birthday party dream? I cannot seem to remember it.

It is actually Jamison who has this dream of the future, during the 1897 storyline.
