(Here's a poll that I think I already know what the final outcome will be.) Do you find Jeff Clark, with his seemingly perpetually angst-ridden, hair-grasping, and petulant "schtick" more annoying? Or, like yours truly, are you absolutely sick and tired of seeing that geeky twenty-something with the seemingly unending leering smile on his kisser in those ubiquitous Dell Computer TV commercials?[puke]Oh God!! tough call to make.[puke]
So, while I'm sure that most of you will opt to give thumbs-down to Jeff Clark, I'll give the "Sicilian Salute" to that creepy Dell computer kid.
I would actually have to vote for the Dell computer guy.
It's also interesting to note that Dell's current ad campaigns must be doing something right because it was recently reported that, in a time when most computer technology companies are reporting loses, Dell's revenue increased 12%. ;D
Looking for a new computer soon and I won't buy a DELL because of him!
Sorry, dude, I'm going to have to go with the Dell Computer guy too. Wouldn't it be great if he could appear on Dark Shadows? I can just see him going up to little David's roomDUDE! You're gettin' a Dell![size=10]Dr. Lang[/size]

Go Gateway! ;)
Compaq and emachines tied for last place with failing grades across the board.
In their August issue, PC Magazine published their annual Reader's Poll. It might surprise you that Dell was ranked highest in overall satisfaction, service, reliability & willingness to buy again for both home and office use. Locally built and Gateway tied for second place. Compaq and emachines tied for last place with failing grades across the board.
Go Gateway! ;)
still have to go with Ben (can't remember his last name) over Roger. Mainly because I've never heard of Ben striking one of his fans. :oOHMYGOD, I'd completely forgotten about that. [haironend]
I hope he is no longer like that.
I'm sorry, Bob - but I find Jeff Clark at least 1000 times more annoying than the Dell computer guy. Saying "Dude, you're getting a Dell" is nothing compared to Clark's screaming, ranting and raving. ::)
I don't mind the Dell boy all that much. I'd much rather see this commercial than that long dragged out one for Staples! And please, if I see one more AOL commercial......[scrm]

The only category where Dell didn't place first was for notebooks - it placed 5th behind Apple, Hewlett-Packard, IBM & Toshiba, who all tied for 1st. Gateway came in 7th. And once again, Compaq came in last, this time tied with NEC.
Or that one where the guy says, "can ya hear me now?" in ten thousand different locations. HE'Sin the same category as Jeff Clark/Peter Bradford.
I totally can't stand CARROT-TOP!!! He's so icky!!!
WHO IS THAT? I hope you're not referring to Craig Slocum. :'(
Carrot Top is the curly-haired comedian in the 100-call-collect ads (or maybe it's 10-10-321; they're all alike to me.)
I saw Carrot Top (someone who really does need to touch his hair) near the elevators of the MGM Grand when we were there for the 1998 DS Festival. He had a girl on each arm and an entourage following. GAG! Hey, where's that vomiting smiley? ?!?
Things could be so much worse. We could still have Miss Cleo on our airwaves.
I don't mind the Dell Kid.....but there are other commericals that get to me even more then Dell's.
Geiko - imagine, the little green guy driving a car ..hehe

Nope...not Craig. Carrot-Top of the 1-800-CALL ATT commercials.
However, as annoying as Roger Davis is while in character, he is rather nice to look at. ;)
saw a Dell commericial today without him YEAH! :)
What does that say about the current story line on DS?
What does that say about us?!!
Last week I couldn't pick up Sci Fi on the dish because of lots of rain. Didn't miss it. Must be as bored as the rest of you with the story line.
Maybe we should start on the DiTech.com guy.
(Selby.....that handsome devil that USED to be MB's avatar is from "Buffy". But now that you mention it, an avatar from that version of "Dracula" would almost certainly be visually stunning!! If I remember correctly, the costumes were outrageous!!!
