Julia was way too clinical while ripping off Joe's clothes today . .but it was interesting. .Barnabas "must you do that?" Julia "I have to clean the wound." Unspoken thoughts. . 'He's no Tom Jennings that's for sure. .Tom! Tom where are you?!' :P

I recall seeing Tom Jennings later on, guess he didn't stay six feet under.
On another note, I wouldn't mind seeing Harry Johnson shirtless. They should've filmed some scenes at the Collinwood swimming pool! ;)

Dear Ladies,
Your candid comments about seeing photographs of certain male DS stars with their shirts off reminds me of an observation that the great George Carlin once made.
Mr. Carlin remarked how frustrating it is to lose some personal possession that you truly cherish. You spend the rest of your years constantly (but unsuccessfully) trying to locate that cherished lost item. Fortunately, Mr. Carlin asserts, that when you die and go to Heaven, St. Peter is there to meet you at the pearly gates, and he returns that long-lost cherished personal possession to you.
"What a relief!" exclaims Mr. Carlin. Now I know that St. Peter will return my nude photos of Ernest Borgnine to me!!!"

Yes, that scene with Julia cutting open Joe's shirt while Barnabas nervously looks on always has me crawling around on the carpet gnawing at the sofa cushions. (Yes, please DO call before you drop by our house.) It's just such a riot of subtext. THAT must have been an interesting day in the studio. Watching scenes such as this I realize just how focused and GOOD they could all be, not simply to collapse in fits of laughter at the proceedings. Of course it was a very serious situation ... Joe was badly injured, and on top of all that, Julia was about to discover that he was a vampire victim. Not pretty at all even if the sight of Joe's sculpted torso exposed to the light of day was the epitome of beauty. Would Percy Bysshe Shelley have come away from a viewing of this tape drunk with beauty? I suspect he would have done.

Not that I mind looking at Joe's bear chest, but you would think that they would by now take off his ripped open shirt and give him one of Barnabas'. It must be really uncomfortable having those long sleeves and the rest of it open with the itchy looking afgan over him.
