I was perusing KLS' "Dark Shadows Memories" book last night and saw some stills from the HODS movie. In one of the stills ... guess whose throat was being grabbed by whom??? LOL!

I moved from the Prescott area about 2 1/2 yrs. ago. I had lived there for 9 years, before that 9 years in Phoenix. I certainly did enjoy my visits to Flagstaff. But now, I am happy to be back home in Missouri.

I haven't read this whole thread, and maybe someone's said this already...but as to the whole reason *why* Julia puts up with this from Barn...although it certainly isn't the type of response she'd like from him, at least he is not ignoring her. Perhaps a little negative attention is better than none at all?
Kind of sad, and maybe I read too much into Julia's character, but I'd hope she'd have more self respect than that. Oh well, it is fun to watch the dymanics, though...

I think that this character, originally written as male, gained nuiances with a female that we in today's mindset overly analyze. ..at particular points, i think they just played it as written. ..Julia wanted something from Barnabas, later she fell for him, but I think originally she saw her name and reputation reaching Pasteur heights and decided to take a lot in order to gain that. . . 2 cents.
