Post by: VAM on August 15, 2002, 02:37:03 PM
Whether at the Big House or the Old House, which characters used those COLLINWOOD CURTAINS to hide and why?

Didn't Millicent hide behind them when they were looking for her and then start laughing?

Spoiler

At the Old House, Harry Johnson runs and hides behind the curtains in Josette's room, after he hears Julia Hoffman coming upstairs. He had just poisoned Joe Haskell's medicine while he was sleeping.

I seem to recall Barn or Quentin stuffing Carl's body behind those curtains in 1897-  Also I think Jamison may have used them once or twice.  In 1969, Amy collapsed from behind the curtains in Quentin's room during the whole possession story.

In 1897 Aristede hid behind the curtains in Judith's room with a gun because he was planning to do away with her.

Another good one was when Barnabas hid behind the curtains in Charity Trask's room while waiting to sink his fangs into her. [fangs]

Oh hell, somebody's always hiding behind curtains.
Pansy was hiding behind the curtains in the drawing room during the I Wanna Dance With You dream sequence.  (Quentin: "I'm gonna find yoooou!")
Daphne's ghost was hiding there on at least one occasion.  (Why should ghosts have to hide, anyway?)
I can't remember Julia ever hiding there.  Maybe 'cause she's an "up front" kinda gal.

Yeah, Julia  sure is "UP FRONT" that is why she sticks that stuff in hypos, hands out sedatives, and resorts to hypnotizing people... ::)

That was actually a very sexy scene for the late 60's on TV IMHO.  It was beautifully done.

Come to think of it, some of the scenes with BC ready to bite his victim were quite sexy. I'm also thinking of the scene with Buffie Harrington and the one with Vicki when she is wearing the yellow nightgown just to name a few.

**Spoiler**

Amy, after being summoned to the house by Quentin and carrying down the Rachel dress, hid from Barnabas and Willie by sneaking behind the curtains.
