Rebecca Staab was recently added to the guest list for the Hollywood Show (http://www.hollywoodshow.com/) on April 23-25 at the Burbank Marriott.
That's in addition to her scheduled appearance at the Florida SuperCon (http://www.supercon.tv) in Miami on June 18-20: http://www.supercon.tv/media-guests/163-rebecca-staab
So, a '91 DS alum is willing to participate in autograph shows on both coasts, including this year's Fest location... And Adrian Paul was at last year's Comic-Con... Are you listening, Jim Pierson?!
With thanks to Kosmo!

Yes Jim Pierson are you listening!!? Thanks Midnite!

Attention fans in the Maryland area, and Jim Pierson too while we're at it:
Roy Thinnes will be appearing at the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention, Sept. 23-25 in Hunt Valley, MD.
http://www.midatlanticnostalgiaconvention.com/
Autograph hours are listed on the site. Thinnes is also scheduled to participate in a panel discussion-- "The Invaders: Exploring a Sci-Fi Phenomenon"-- followed by a Q&A with him on Friday at 1 p.m. The page says it's his first autograph show in 20 years. (Same for Van Williams, all you Green Hornet fans.)
Thanks again, Kosmo!

Yeah there is movement on FB about getting them to the festival. Too bad some people are trying to say they are invited and discourage us.

i would imagine that the stars of the 1991 series do not participate in the fest for monetary reasons on several levels.
mpi has 1,225 episodes of the original series to sell. the 1991 version has 12. it's doubtful anyone is ever going to make money on that and like it or not this is a business enterprise.
in terms of the actors onboard most who attend from the original series do so not only out of fan loyalty but to promote their own projects. kathryn leigh scott, lara parker, marie wallace, diana millay, david selby and so forth all sell books, cds and so forth based on their time on the program and assorted side projects but still market them under the dark shadows banner.
the stars of the 1991 series do not market themselves in the same way and there isn't the type of merchandise associated with the original series for them to promote.
it's likely not financially viable for anyone concerned for those actors to attend.
